I require a plugin that will hide all unnecessary parts of the wordpress administration, to make it easier for people without much knowledge of computers to manage their own site.
I require a plugin that overrides the standard look of WP-admin,

- Admin screen completely blank from any menus or buttons or the dashboard
- The page has to show large buttons to go to certain aspects of the WP-Admin
Button 1: Create / Modify Blog posts
Button 2: Remove and edit Comments
Button 3: Your personal information
Button 4: Your Guestbook
Button 5: Your Photo album
Button 6: Your Design
Button 7: Your Webmail (direct link to squirrelmail)

Create / modify blog posts
Uses the regular Posts admin, but stripped from custom fields, tags, trackbacks, post author etc. Keeping things simple.

The above example shows the "complexity" of the coding required.
I've had lots of custom work done for other sites in the past, so I know how much time it would require and for what price.
overall it's not really complex, it just needs to be done right !
Im using Wordpress MU, but the WP-admin has to change for the users, not me as an administrator in WPMU !! |
