I own this website: www.freemixdownloads.com
It uses Wordpress in the main root folder and SMF (Simple Machine Forum) in /forum/.
My main goal is to make the site better and use only use Wordpress to power the site. To achieve this I will need:
1. Currently I don't host any the files on my site, users must use a thrid party site and post the URL (for more details this is form they use www.freemixdownloads.com
So I need good upload faclity, my site must be able to host it's own files, , I dont want users leaving my site, they need to be able to upload the music without leaving. prefely with a progress bar, new uploads will be added as posts by users.
2. There are currentley around 800 links stored in the forum here; www.freemixdownloads.com they are seperated into sections with each link having it's own page. I need all this links moving into wordpress posts. Each user who has uploaded music needs to have thier profile copied into wordpress.
3. Redesign website to clear, easy to use, and look good to visitors. Displaying catargioes on home the page with different genres of music that has been uploaded, a bit like www.junodownload.com
4. I'd like a user profile page, that shows what they uploaded and their picture.
5. I'm open to any other suggestions to improve the site.
